Seattle based rapper Brandon "The Project" O'Neal was born July 14th 1984 in Everett, WA.
During a rough childhood Brandon struggled with academics, but excelled in the realm of music. Learning to play multiple instruments he began writing poetry for school assignments, which would quickly bring together his love of music and experiences running the streets.
At 15 years old, Brandon and his close friends Cory "Ripynt" Tate and Randy Ross formed an underground rap group "NRS".
At 20 years old Brandon would join the U.S. Army as a cannoneer and was stationed at Fort Hood, Tx & Fort Carson, CO.
He deployed to Iraq two times (2005-2006 & 2007-2009).
Brandon released two solo projects while serving on Active duty. His album "Condolences" was self released and was produced by Element & Murda B of "Go Getta Records" in Killeen, Tx. And a compilation album titled "Platinum in Baghdad" which he self released while serving a 15 month tour in central Baghdad.
After serving 4 years of active duty, Brandon would return to his home state of Washington, where he would serve two additional years in the Army National Guard while trying to return to civilian life and continuing where he left off in his career as a hip hop recording artist.
He has now reunited with his friends Cory Tate and Randy Ross (who is now an Audio Engineer for Undercaste Studios) to continue producing some of the areas top hip hop/rap music.
In 2010, for his kids, Brandon stopped using cursewords in his lyrics.
