Founded in Baltimore, The Psychodelics started out as a 3 piece rock group in 2014. What started out as some basement jams eventually became their first album "@Lost in Thought", a collaborative effort between guitarist/singer - Zach Sine, drummer - Steve Fuggi (Pushovrs), and original bassist - Johnny Kush.
The band had undergone a change in 2016, when Zach and Steve had decided to move on to Chicago, where they recruited the help of Dan Cleveland (Daniel Jay ). Over the course of 6 months while living in the suburbs, they had worked on their second full length album Antique Ball of Rust, and immediately began a tour to promote the album.
After the release of A.B.O.R, they remained steady playing live shows and working to make the best show they could offer. In 2017, two more tours were announced, and they had begun to play new songs that eventually had become staples in their show. The live shows started to morph into one long journey rather than going up and playing the songs. They found ways to connect and transition their music to create a very dynamically diverse set list. This was to create a unique experience that they would eventually call "Chaos Rock". After refining many basement jams, they had decided to tackle a third full length album The Goodie Bag in 2018.
Prior to the release, Dan had decided to pursue other aspirations, leaving the band. At this point the band had recruited Garreth Boland, who continues to play today.
