The Ragamuffins are a cavalcade of musical buccaneers based across the North West of England that play gutsy, soulful indie-pop songs, captained admirably by songwriter David John Jaggs.
They've released a number of albums and EP's to date since their inception in 2008, most notably 2016's "Over On The Shipping Forecast" which featured the singles "Taped Off The Radio" and "What Was Beautiful" that both featured on ITV and BBC Radio 2. Their latest release, 2018's "Cause Of Causes" is a more raucous affair than their previous efforts, with a more visceral, driving drum sound and irrepressible basslines, but still retaining the band's sixth sense for an infectious melody.
