The Real Weapon X - Born Kolten Perepelkin, this 29 year old rapper was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He has a style that is reminiscent of the 90’s east coast gangster rap scene while still being derivative enough to compete in today’s competitive hip-hop landscape. Known for his unflinching rhymes and poetic ability, Weapon X eventually found himself using music as a therapeutic escape to the dangerous lifestyle presented in front of him at a young age. He has found himself inspired by Hip-Hop legends like Dave East, Lil Wayne, Tech-N9ne, 50 Cent, and Mac Miller, which helped pave the way of the artist he stands to be today. From his early stages of “Daily Dose of Weapon X” to his ability now to perform and entertain in front of hundreds of people, Weapon X has usually found himself to be the wild card in the room. You never know what to expect from this rapper climbing his way into the Hip-Hop Hall of Fame.
