The Reasons Why

Hard rock outfit The Reasons Why, hailing from Melbourne, Australia started with very humble beginning as a laid back local acoustic act. However, it didn’t take long for the band to find it’s true love of the heavier sound, notably a strong grunge influence, which would become the forefront of their sound.
2012 saw the release of their debut single “Rain”, which instantly connected with fans around Australia. Since then, they have grown a reputation for an incredibly strong live band, which in recent times has landed them the support slot with local heavyweights like Electric Mary, Jebediah, Art vs Science & The Angels.
In 2020 the band released their debut record DECADE, which was a strong showcase of their songwriting and well crafted musicianship. Having played massive shows throughout 2020 and 2022 on the back of the record, they then set their sights on the studio again.
Nov 2022 they released their brand new single 'Apathy', followed by back to back releases in 2023 'Not my Breed' & 'The Teacher'.
And now they have finished 2023 strongly with their latest release that really packs a punch and sure to get your foot tapping’The Empress of Lies’…now available on all streaming services..
