On a hot summer day in August 2019, Miles Oshan once asked Jordan Aguilar to play bass for his band, to which Jordan responded “uh sure?” This was the birth of The Red Cassettes. The two started working only the realize they were missing someone, “A drummer!” Miles proclaimed and out from the floor appeared Chase Adams. “But I hate rock music” Chase responded as he was only a Jazz drummer (at the time 😉). This was then when thing got interesting, one by one, practice by practice, music began to spit out of the Canyon Lake practice pad until 5 months later; and a lot of Sonic Cheese Pretzels later. The Red Cassettes had music upon them and their first gig. Soon to be followed but their second gig then the release of “Feel” their debut album. Now they camp in the depths of San Marcos, Texas lurking in the streets (except for Chase he resides in Canyon for some odd reason). When they aren’t practicing they’re busy eating Pretzels (god they love those pretzels), writing new music (Miles writes most of the lyrics while Chase is there for moral support and the occasional “Wait fix that!” and Jordan is just there, nobody know why he’s there but he is, maybe to bother miles? Who knows), or they watching Jordan drink his Mexican Coke then collect the bottle to show his crippling addiction of soda.
