The Redtones are band forged out of American founding principles of individual freedoms and independent thought who believe we are living in an upside-down world. Through our music, we seek to introduce thought provoking ideas through exploring various topics relevant to our abstract culture. In this pursuit, we utilize different forms of music styles combined with a wide range of approaches from hard driving emotionally charged narratives to more humorous metaphoric connotations. As a band, we never seek to instruct or direct ideas. Rather, we hope to promote free thinking and debate towards numerous topics related to our current day society and welcome communication towards a common ground.
From a style standpoint, our influences are numerous. Our music provides a marriage of sounds from Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and Soundgargden of the grunge oriented Seattle Sound movement to more Southern Rock oriented acts like Collective Soul, Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Seven Mary Three. Other notable influences a wide range from Faith No More to Radiohead to B.B. King.
