Ringard, French for tacky, out of fashion.
The Ringards are a newly formed 6 piece out of London.
Devilish in delivery and drenched in sardonic lyrics, the band exude raw punk energy reminiscent of the late 70’s but land leftfield on the wider experimental pitch, combining various genres whilst birthing an unconventional sound to the scene.
To date, The Ringards have been championed by the likes of BBC Introducing, Fred Perry Subculture, Far Out magazine, their local radio stations (Boogaloo Radio, Hoxton Radio) and have been featured on the cover of Lost and Found Magazine. Thriving in their high-octane live sets, the band have played to packed out crowds at venues such as The Shacklewell Arms, The Windmill, The Lexington and recently across the pond where they sold out the Supersonic in Paris. On an upward trajectory, the London locals have spent the year knee-deep in the studio working on their new album, set for release January 2025.
Musing on truth and the reality of London’s every day life, the band will bring a taste of treasurable junk to your town.
