Bonding through their love of classic rock, The Roadies first formed in late 2021, in their first year of university. Drawing influence from various styles of music such as indie rock, garage rock, ska, post-punk, disco, funk, blues and bossa nova, The Roadies cultivated their unique sound and captivated audiences throughout London. Originally a four-piece band with Matt and Dan on guitars, Fin on bass, and Daani on drums, they developed their sound, experimenting with long, improvised jams. However, once Tommi joined on lead vocals, their energy became unmatched, unleashing their passion for music through visceral live performances. Their music re-conceptualises the British rock sound, incorporating disco and Latin-American grooves, both heavy and silky riffs, and lyrics that reflect what it means to grow up in 21st century Britain.
