Emerging out of the Swedish alternative and garage rock scene in the midst of the '90s, the Robots combine the efforts of a four-piece crew. Commanded by Odd the God (vocals), along with Frank the Punk (guitar), Piotr the Motor (drums), and Pete the Eater (bass), the Robots easily established themselves as one of the top cult bands within the Swedish punk rock underground. In May 1999, the crew offered its first full-length album, Robots, via the Atomic Action records label. Still in 1999, but this time through the U.S.-based label Man's Ruin, the Swedes presented their second major studio recording, The Good Times Are Killing Me, shortly followed by yet another disc, Day of the Robots. In 2001, the squad delivered its second eponymous release, The Robots, available through the Feedback Boogie catalog. ~ Mario Mesquita Borges, Rovi
