The Spiracles

Comprised of transplants from as far as Peru, The Spiracles music captures an elusive, hauntingly beautiful, and melancholic sound. An eighties/nineties-era undertone can be sensed in the music of the indie-pop band.

While influenced by the likes of the <a href="spotify:artist:5Wabl1lPdNOeIn0SQ5A1mp" data-name="Cocteau Twins">Cocteau Twins</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:72X6FHxaShda0XeQw3vbeF" data-name="Slowdive">Slowdive</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4KWTAlx2RvbpseOGMEmROg" data-name="R.E.M.">R.E.M.</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:3KH6DLHeoFZgVbtKiLXb6L" data-name="The Field Mice">The Field Mice</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:3yY2gUcIsjMr8hjo51PoJ8" data-name="The Smiths">The Smiths</a>. The Spiracles construct a sound that is unique to them as they continue to flush out and create new material with a fresh collective of collaborators; forming a tight, hypnotic, and talented group.

The lovely vocals, harmonies, and melodies transcend to fuse with ear-tingling walls of guitar from Luis Rodriguez and Enrique Medina. Their often melancholic songs are infused with a spirited uplifting mood making for a perfect storm.

The Spiracles returns with a new single SUBURBIOS RAROS but this time in collaboration with <a href="spotify:artist:6RCzTQcz74WFBYsX0xz9Pj" data-name="Sabina Odone">Sabina Odone</a>, as a second single the band released THE RUNAWAY with <a href="spotify:artist:5GovRGnkPNt0Ym8lnvxUmf" data-name="Phoebe Condos">Phoebe Condos</a>.
As part of the forthcoming EP, the band will release RAINFOXES featuring the collaboration of the beautiful and outstanding Estonian / Icelandic singer-songwriter <a href="spotify:artist:4nTaxVHuEV7KoMjca6Ls5R" data-name="Possimiste">Possimiste</a>.
The new EP BETWEEN THE DEVIL AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA is set up for release on Dec 1st and will compile all previous singles plus a brand new song IF I LET GO co-written with Romina Roggero and a new remix of Almost Everything by <a href="spotify:artist:1g3XTHmMSEMxvc0krlQGWD" data-name="Juan Nolag">Juan Nolag</a>.
