The Salt Lake based neo dream psych-rock duo The Spiral Jetties was formed by multi-instrumentalists Marc Wheeler (bass, guitars, vocals) and Alex Ericksen (guitars, drums, vocals), both of which were in a previous band together Horsha on the Moon. Starting with a common love of the harmonies and hooks of Darker My Love, The Black Angels, Ride, Oasis, Tame Impala, and others, began learning to write, record, and produce together. Over time they developed a writing and production pattern that kept producing music they would personally love to listen to. The duo weave a contrast of feel and texture, dreams of flowers and nightmares, intoxicating melody and harmony.
