Stevie Allen was raised in Randolph County in North East Arkansas – a stone's throw from the rice and cotton fields of the Delta valley located at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. All four of Stevie’s grandparents and three of his great-grandparents lived within five miles of each other during Stevie’s youth, which instilled a principle that's become Stevie’s life theme, which is: what’s important in life is family and never forgetting from where you've come!
Raised in the Church of Christ from a young age, Stevie would sing all of the old hymns with his preacher's wife - "Miss Katie" (an excellent alto herself) - standing right next to him. Such an experience ultimately led to a choir scholarship for Stevie (while simultaneously playing college football as a walk on) for doing exactly what he loves – singing! Stevie is on the road frequently but among his favorite “off-road” activates is still leading the singing at church when he’s home!
Stevie went to public school in the Pocahontas School District until he finished high school in Jonesboro. After which, he spent a few years in Magnolia at Southern Arkansas University. Stevie then transferred to Harding University in Searcy where he met the love of his life - his wife Lindsay. They have since been married over 23 years and have 2 wonderful children.
