The Subjunctives are a Pop Punk band from Seattle, made up of scene veterans. Members include Ean from Sicko, Jeff from Four Lights, and Wendell from Desolate Coast. Ean has run Top Drawer Records since the early 1990's, which has put out many PNW-local pop bands including the Subjunctives, and also runs the yearly Seattle Pop Punk Festival. The idea behind the Subjunctives, or Sub-J's as they are called in the local scene, is to create and share the music that they've loved since the 80's and 90's: fast, hooky, thoughtful, funny and occasionally melancholy. We work hard at music but won't quit our day jobs, we strive to BE professional with out BEING professionals! Our latest vinyl LP Let's Try This Again is about friendship, 1990’s pop punk, and is also a nod to the circumstances of our first LP Sunshine and Rainbows which came out 3 months before the COVID lockdowns, putting all our plans on hold. We are over the moon to be back out playing, recording, and touring this little indie punk band.
