Dhamon is a French singer, songwriter and actor living in the South of France. He’s been playing the drums and the piano since he was a teenager. In his childhood he was guided by a wide range of artistic influences that go from Ennio Morricone to Massive Attack.
He started writing songs at age 14. In his first band, where he played the drums, the pianist asked him to sing a few tracks, and that’s how the story began… In the meantime he discovered the power of composing with a computer and a DAW. He’ll never cease to work and put songs together after that, mainly in English. His first single, D-Day, was released in 2017.
Movie-making is another one of his passions. He directed his first short movie when he was in high-school. Extremely keen on details, it took him two years to produce D-Day’s video, in 2017. One can recognize his inclination for the cinematic world in his music too, with strings, horns and massive percussion, of course mixed with electronic sounds.
The Time Apart is a collective of artists (singers, musicians, beat-makers, sound experts, vocal coach, graphic designer, photographer...) federated by one "conductor" who composes and writes the different tracks. Dhamon has been leading the project since 2015; D-Day is far from being the only track in the pipeline. He and Mathias, a very talented pianist, have joined forces on many songs before finally integrating the rest of the team to carry out this project.
