The Vices, an indie rock band from Groningen, Netherlands, emerged in 2019, formed by Floris van Luijtelaar, Simon Bleeker, Jonathan Kruizenga, and Mathijs Louwsma. Known for their energetic performances and a distinctive blend of rock, surf, and punk, they quickly gained a reputation with catchy melodies, driving rhythms, and thought-provoking lyrics.

Their debut EP, "Life Grows," released in 2019, received praise from fans and critics, propelled by the hit single "Sly Smiled Berlin Child," which became popular on Dutch radio. This early success led to numerous live performances across the Netherlands, showcasing their dynamic stage presence and tight musicianship.

In 2021, The Vices released their first full-length album, followed by their second album, "Unknown Affairs" in 2022. It marked a significant evolution, featuring complex arrangements and diverse influences. The album received critical acclaim, solidifying their status in the indie scene.

The Vices' extensive touring has cemented their reputation as a formidable live act. They have performed at major Dutch festivals such as Eurosonic Noorderslag, Best Kept Secret, and Pinkpop, receiving rave reviews for their high-energy shows. Headline tours across Europe and the US, supporting Nothing But Thieves and YUNGBLUD on European tours. Their international appeal is highlighted by their inclusion in prestigious festival lineups like SXSW and The Great Escape.
