If you say Komodo, you say: Exotic Indie Rock ’n’ Roll. Injected with magic spells from all over the world, it’s a special brew designed to make you dance all night and day. Psychedelic rock, mixed with desert blues, surf rock, afro-disco, rumba and Indian raga. Komodo brings non-western sounds & rhythms, unexpected instruments and a killer, high-energy live-show. A little bit weird, a little bit gritty, but the melodies will get stuck in your head for days.

The band has release their 3rd studio album. For new music, they traveled the world over the past few months. They spent time in the Belgian Ardennes but also had a residency at the legendary Spanish beach bar El Nautico de San Vicente.
It would be a shame to mine the gold of worldly influences only in the music; the fruits of these travels will not only be featured on the upcoming studio album but will be more prominent than ever in a renewed live show.

After the release of the debut album in 2019, Komodo played some prestigious festivals like Noorderslag and Gransnapolsky in their home country of The Netherlands. They also played at the famous French festivals Transmusicales de Rennes and Printemps de Bourges.
In march 2022 Komodo released their second album, titled Barbarians. Both singles ‘Easy Prey’ and ‘Lost Kids’ became hits on Dutch national radio. Tours in The Netherlands, Germany and Spain followed.
