The Virgin, formed under the creative guidance of Ahmad Dhani, is a shining example of the fusion of raw talent and musical discovery. Their story began with "Cinta Terlarang," a song by Cameria Happy Pramita, a female guitarist from T.R.I.A.D. In June 2008, this song caught the attention of Dhani, who saw its potential and envisioned recording it as part of a duo album.

Dhani, who was serving as a judge on the Mamamia Show, a talent search competition, was captivated by Dara Rizky Ruhiana, a contestant from Tasikmalaya. He made a promise to Dara: if she didn't win Mamamia, he would bring her into the recording studio. Staying true to his word, after Dara's departure from the contest in the Top 8, Dhani introduced her to Mita. By the end of 2008, Dara and Mita had officially formed The Virgin.

The Virgin's rise to fame was further propelled by their association with NAGASWARA. This partnership helped The Virgin reach new heights, gaining them widespread recognition and a devoted fanbase known as Virginity. Under NAGASWARA, The Virgin has continued to enchant audiences with their unique sound and dynamic performances, solidifying their place in the music industry.
