The Volts is a Madrid-based band that has been playing since 2015.
The current lineup consists of: Jonas Österberg on vocals and guitar, David García on guitar, Daniel Boeira on bass, and Mariano Delgado on drums.
They describe themselves as a Molotov Cocktail fueled by the grunge-punk rock era of the '90s. The music of Volts is not easy to define—they navigate a wide range of styles. But what is easy is feeling what they transmit. Their riffs are sometimes heavy and dark, yet they blend seamlessly with catchy melodic vocals.
And when the thunderous drumbeats align with the guitar, bass, and full-throated vocals, this band sparks more than just energy.
During the pandemic years, they took their time crafting this explosive mix, and since their stage debut in 2023, they have been making a strong impact on Madrid’s live music scene. They have already built a reputation for delivering electrifying performances that leave no one indifferent.
Currently, they are in the studio recording their debut LP, set to be released in 2025.
