Born from the heart of New Orleans’ Mardi Gras Indian tradition, The Wild Magnolias fuse deep-rooted Black Indian culture with the fire of funk, soul, and rock. Originally led by Big Chief Bo Dollis Sr. and now carried forward by his son Big Chief Bo Dollis Jr., the group has spent decades bringing the chants, percussion, and spirit of the streets to global stages. Their sound bridges generations from Congo Square to the modern club celebrating resistance, rhythm, and revelry.
