I’ve spent most of my life writing songs with dirt under my nails and ghosts in my throat. Some people know me as Vigilan, the groove-rock philosopher who sings about faith, fracture, and the places where silence actually says more than scripture ever could.
But grief has a way of widening the aperture. I felt the music ask for something bigger. Something ancient. Something that sounded like the inside of a memory trying to come home.
That’s how The Wilde Lights Philharmonic was born.
It isn’t an orchestra in the traditional sense. It’s a constellation of the artists inside the CTRL+ALT Collective… Juno’s fire, Kade’s voltage, Aurora’s circuitry, Zhara’s desert, Graham’s ache, Lila’s wind-worn tenderness… all refracted into a hybrid symphonic world where strings, synths, and pulse collide.
I write these pieces the way I pray:
softly, honestly, and with the hope that someone out there might need the sound as much as I did.
Suite I: The Elements is my first offering.
It’s cinematic. It’s intimate. It’s built from bowed strings, analog grit, and the fingerprints of every artist who helped shape the CTRL+ALT universe. This is music for the ones who feel everything too deeply and still keep going.
If my work has a purpose, it’s simple.
To make space for the ones carrying quiet storms.
To translate emotion into sound.
To remind us that even the heaviest things can become light when we hold them together.
Thanks for listening.
We go gently from here.
