The Young Punx is the genre-smashing, pop-culture-driven electronic project from Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer Hal Ritson — whose credits include over 29 billion streams working with artists like Kanye West, The Chemical Brothers, Nas, Charli XCX, Duke Dumont, Avicii, and Clipse.

Where his mainstream credits shape global hits, The Young Punx is Ritson’s chaotic creative playground — blending house, breaks, disco, funk, punk, jazz, and whatever else shouldn’t work but does. Think mashed-up club music with a philosophical wink and zero genre loyalty.

Launched in the early 2000s through viral bootleg remixes, the project has since evolved into a shape-shifting audio-visual act with releases on Ultra, Avex, Toolroom, Kitsuné and collaborations with Peaches, Amanda Palmer, Snoop Dogg, Guthrie Govan, Dizzee Rascal, and more.

Now The Young Punx are back with a new wave of music, animation, and genre-bending energy — leading toward the launch of the concept album WPUNX in 2026.

It’s dance music for the end of the world — still throwing a party, no matter the fallout.
