Theydon Bois is a London-born psychedelic pop trio that feels as though they’ve stepped straight out of the late 1960s. Made up of Lena, Sue, and Lucy, the band blends shimmering folk harmonies with lush psychedelic textures, echoing the purity of The Seekers, the melodic charm of The Hollies, and the dreamy elegance of Françoise Hardy alongside the cinematic moods of Serge Gainsbourg.
Their debut single “Help Me to Help You” (2025) captures the essence of their sound — warm late sixties reverbs, chiming guitars, and soft, ethereal vocals layered into a song that feels both nostalgic and new as there are faint glimmers of modern influence too, like the Cardigans.
Theydon Bois is an experiment in storytelling, identity, and imagination. Their music plays like a rediscovered recording — as if a forgotten London trio from 1969 had been unearthed and given a voice again. There is a sense of mystery at the heart of their work, blurring the lines between history and invention.
