Thirsty Curses is an eclectic rock band formed by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist <a href="spotify:artist:5vVgsLGU7Y7zwfVrZo2yN3" data-name="Wilson Getchell">Wilson Getchell</a> in 2016 in Raleigh, NC. Band members have changed over the years, both in the studio and on stage, with Getchell as the one constant since the band's formation. Clayton Herring (bass; 2019-25) & Kelley Otwell (lead guitar; 2016-17 & 2019-20) have also been regular contributors.
Thirsty Curses has released five albums <a href="spotify:album:1FxsajJ8Bvmv9U3NRo65KA" data-name="Music Is a Scam">Music Is a Scam</a> (2025), <a href="spotify:album:0EJr6qOrJteFJ8L0skZ7KC" data-name="To the Ends of the Earth">To the Ends of the Earth</a> (2022), <a href="spotify:album:1AfMAEQ9J7mXi6c1yNRi6Z" data-name="Thirsty Curses">Thirsty Curses</a> (2019), <a href="spotify:album:36fJS0nz1fRTPJ8nlmvzo8" data-name="All Shook Up">All Shook Up</a> (2018), & <a href="spotify:album:5tRQ8dprGjIS2GfPzn1IuS" data-name="Holy Moly">Holy Moly</a> (2017), & a handful of standalone singles including "<a href="spotify:album:50lLfeBYG1nMefQ8P61VwY" data-name="Punk Rock Ruined My Life">Punk Rock Ruined My Life</a>" & "<a href="spotify:track:3YrwJAawFjfuNaxP5x3LCS" data-name="I Never Learn">I Never Learn</a>" (2023) . In July 2023, Thirsty Curses released THROUGH THE DAZE (Fake Chapter Records), a retrospective best-of, exclusively available on vinyl.
