This Is Falling is a rock band from St. Louis, Missouri whose releases range from hard rock to metalcore to synthwave and a bit in between. The band is made up of five members - Mikey Kunstel (vocals), Isaac Etter (vocals/bass), Brett Ortwerth (guitar), Sean Dothager (guitar), and TJ Younger (drums) - and prides itself on its DIY nature self-producing most all aspect of its releases from music to art to video.
TIF has released two 7-song EPs, <a href="spotify:album:4bKutyrwFFqO9yLAP4tYNl" data-name="We Built This On Our Own">We Built This On Our Own</a> in March 2013 and <a href="spotify:album:1KPe7LfxNrUcD9JpJ6SrM5" data-name="Reprise">Reprise</a> in July 2020 after a 7 year hiatus, and a 13-song full-length <a href="spotify:album:30p7z6C57iBADnyiMoLJcK" data-name="TIFwave">TIFwave</a> in April 2023. Along the way, they have released several music videos, namely for <a href="spotify:track:1uRJUXDTLfaCW3jnllAV63" data-name="Whisper">Whisper</a>, <a href="spotify:track:1ZlhRrTUBgQ2rKjTQksMtE" data-name="Spit It Out">Spit It Out</a>, and <a href="spotify:track:7FYcQxZu1MqtgLCJY8xO28" data-name="MANGO">MANGO</a>, to accompany the releases, as well as independently produced and released a 1980’s horror/slasher-themed single and short film <a href="spotify:track:2CDAQUl0lSdOazjjtoqKyE" data-name="Straight Shot">Straight Shot</a> for Halloween 2020. Additionally, the band collaborated on a mango blonde ale and seltzer with local St. Louis brewery Alpha Brewing Company.
