This New Light is an indie-folk music project based in Brisbane, Australia. Quietly accumulating millions of streams in the background, the project has also experienced considerable success live, performing alongside Hollow Coves, The Dreggs, Steph Strings, The Temper Trap and many more.
Samuel Ayling is the songwriter, producer and creative mind behind the project, working out of home studios and literally any other room with a mic in it. Now producing for many other artists (Will Clift, Banksya, Adam James, Levi Maxwell & more) and appearing as regular fixture on bass guitar in The Dreggs, Ayling has made a bit of name for himself in niche pockets of the Australian music scene.
