Thoughts And Notions

Thoughts And Notions is an Inspirational Power-Pop band from the Philippines that aims to uplift wounded souls with their brand of music. Started out as members of their Church&#39;s Music Ministry, the band was founded by Jasper Lloyd Tan (Chief Lyricist), Wilbert Tan/<a href="spotify:artist:5xBq6wF7YKrPEXp9ZN6dTX" data-name="Wile Lile">Wile Lile</a> (composer/arranger), and Thrina Dimaano (Vocalist).

In 2004, they decided to produce a 10 track album for a Fund Raising Project. The album was entitled <a href="spotify:album:5v5BHdLYKY8BfKGv6O71Xq" data-name="In Awe of His Amazing Love">In Awe of His Amazing Love</a> and was released nationwide on 2006 by a major Record Label. In 2009, they independently released a new single <a href="spotify:track:1dny2X1vOxYseWc7anmQeM" data-name="Runaway Angel">Runaway Angel</a>, which got them nominated in the 2009 NU 107 Rock Awards. Philippine&#39;s biggest Rock Radio Station at that time.

They made their digital music debut in 2021 with their 2009 indie album (<a href="spotify:album:26LyTJ3c4GFpFwIfuARtw0" data-name="Love, Faith, Hope, Redemption">Love, Faith, Hope, Redemption</a>). The carrier single <a href="spotify:track:4G7EghuVtlHoTzJQiRiOW1" data-name="Beloved Savior">Beloved Savior</a> and later on the song <a href="spotify:album:1k5QAKAD7LF1PN99VgDGBx" data-name="What Real Christmas Means to Me">What Real Christmas Means to Me</a> made it to Spotify&#39;s New Music Friday Playlist. While Thrina took a break, a third album <a href="spotify:album:06otWIdbxi327v8mxiLGK4" data-name="Thoughts And Notions: PLUS (A Collection of Song Collaborations)">Thoughts And Notions: PLUS (A Collection of Song Collaborations)</a> was released.

In 2024 an old song <a href="spotify:album:32mx4Vhiod5xuLx1enmyaR" data-name="Free">Free</a> was released and made it to Spotify&#39;s Fresh Finds Playlist. Thrina would make her comeback through the song <a href="spotify:album:0mjq5I0fcDRc2UoSpE0WZD" data-name="Countdown to Forever">Countdown to Forever</a>. The band is currently working on re-recording 20th Anniversary Editions of songs from their debut album. With <a href="spotify:album:4azpbRaSf98VvNwmFP4WL0" data-name="A Love So Real (20Th Anniversary Edition)">A Love So Real (20Th Anniversary Edition)</a> landing on SPOTIFY&#39;s New Music Friday Playlist.
