Throndt is a one man Black Metal project from Nordhessen in Germany. It was formed by Fergen Grimnir in 2001, and since then, it is released 2 split albums, ''Throndt/Idhafels'', ''Ulfsdalir/Throndt'' and a full lenght album which came out in 2005, ''Throndt''.
FG about Throndt: "Throndt was formed in 2001 as a one-man-band which I consider to be a homage to the beautiful village and the whole region where I grew up. Most of the lyrics are influenced by the lore of this region which is not about kings, princes, elves or something. Most of these legends are about the problems of ordinary, and often very poor, men and women hundreds of years ago - with a little bit of the supernatural, of course..."
