Throttler

Throttler (real name Stavros Foskolos) is a dark drum &amp; bass artist based in Athens, Greece since the early 2000s. Heavily inspired by the birth of <a href="spotify:playlist:19IBl2pEpZb7TRbw1guSDk" data-name="TechStep / DarkStep">TechStep / DarkStep</a> his style is mostly produces a mixture of dark, hard and fast, constantly alternating music, made of ominous landscapes and techy dancefloor breakbeat treatment. In 2004 he received the Greek Drum &amp; Bass Producer Award and in 2005 he started releasing music under the artist name Throttler. Since then he has been working professionally as a music producer in his own, &quot;West Walls&quot; studio.
His music has been released by the biggest labels of its genre around the world from the very beginning. One vinyl after the other, currently he has over 90 releases on labels such as Freak (US), Big Riddim (US), Killing Sheep (AU), Amalgam (UK), KTRXT (JP), Alphacut (DE), Independenza (BE), and many others.
In 2010 he founded his own record label.Since 2012 he has been assigned as Coordinator &amp; Head Instructor of the &quot;Electronic Music Production&quot; department of SAE Athens.
In 2013, he was certified by the Steinberg / Yamaha group, as an official Steinberg Certified Trainer.
Beloved to his audience and to his fellow music producers, he has their support to put his personal music stamp and contribute to the global electronic music. Currently making new beats in Sweetspot Studios in the notorious Exarcheia of Athens.
