Tiana Cooke is an alternative folk-pop singer-songwriter raised in Brights Grove, Ontario, Canada, crafting emotional storytelling with a blend of upbeat and melancholy summer feeling. Raised on the shores of Lake Huron, her sound carries the imprint of the quiet and close-knit beach community that surrounded her, the blue colour reflections of summer nights jumping off the local pier under the stars, scouting for beach glass with a flashlight and running from the house to the beach with her friends barefoot and rocket pops in hand.
She began writing songs at 14 on piano and guitar & playing Francophone Rock songs in her high-school band. That early spark would eventually grow into her debut body of work and thrilling performances in England and Canada. Her first release, a six-track album was produced in collaboration with the Miles Clayton Band in Quebec City, Canada, who also join her for a duet on the project. The record explores heartbreak, the voyage of identity and the stirring pursuit of silent dreams , themes embodied in tracks like “Midnight Reverie,” enacting the exploration through the concept of existence and possibility in the shifting waters of the conscious mind at night, and “Blue,” a drifting, lake-hearted piece that captures the dual beauty and sadness of longing, nostalgia and acceptance.
Now stepping into her first era with her debut album, Tiana is performing her new music and continuing to write, shaping the next chapter of her artistic journey.
