Tiger March is an indie pop/dream pop band from Los Angeles formed by husband and wife duo Matthew and Annie Gleason. Drawing comparisons to bands like Stars, Beach House, and School of Seven Bells, Tiger March stands out in the Los Angeles music scene.
Tiger March's debut album 'Hold Something' was released on March 23, 2018 with reviewers calling it ..."one of the key synthpop/chillwave records of the year... " and ..."Like a harmonious duet between Beach House and Passion Pit...fills your imagination with airy guitar strumming and fairylike synths straight out of your sweetest dreams."
'Hold Something' was nearly entirely recorded and produced at the band’s home studio with vocals recorded with Aaron Espinoza (Earlimart, Silversun Pickups, Ben Gibbard) and Peter Novoa (Mister Heavenly, Slothrust) at The Ship Studio in Los Angeles. Annie’s direct and unadorned vocals juxtapose Matthew’s ethereal and at other times danceable production and songwriting, creating a subtle, yet pleasing kind of tension that defines their sound.
Tiger March currently includes Tre Beaudoin on drums and Anil Sharma on bass in addition to Matthew on guitar and Annie on vocals.
