Tim Sweeney released "Baby I Try For You" and the video hit over a million views on You Tube and was featured in rotation for GAC for over 6 months. It was released to radio and climbed to 43rd on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart.
During that same year, Tim released two more songs to radio that also achieved top 50 Status , making him one of only a few artists to have 3 top 50 hits in a 12 month period .
This resulted in the Country Music Association naming Tim as an Artist to Watch!
Tims' rapid road to country music success, however, was interrupted.
His son, who was the inspiration for "Baby I Try for You", was denied care required by California law, and Tim, spent 4 years of litigation against the State of California to confirm that such care for disabled autistic adults. During this same time, he lost his father, his mother and a brother.
