Tinned Meats

Tinned Meats combine jazz-inspired drums, melodic synths, angular guitar, plucky bass lines and varied vocals which range from chaotic ranting to lush harmonies, creating a unique sound unlike any other. Influenced by everything from post-punk to pop to jazz, Tinned Meats are a genre defying onslaught of ideas, using polyrhythms, odd meters and complex harmony, keeping the audience guessing every song.



Over the last year, Tinned Meats have played festivals and support slots where they bring the audience into their unconventional world with their own brand of (un)relatable content.



Their debut LP Cult Leaders (2022) was an exploration of sonic possibilities and song topics with lyrics about various cultural outliers from Elvis impersonators to con artists.



T.M. (2023) was a live based E.P. with microphones set up as the band wrote; allowing for a more organic approach to songwriting. The resulting songs are unedited single take performances. Continuing a varied approach to songwriting and lyrics, T.M. utilises the unconventional whole tone scale, polyrhythms and dissonance to great effect. Lyrical themes include turning into a crab, pulling teeth, slime, and drowning.



Tinned Meats are now deep into writing and recording their second full length LP, some of which will be debuted on their promo cd 'Tinned Meats promotional offers' in summer 2025
