Tjatjie (born October 25, 1990) is a singer/songwriter from Paramaribo, Suriname, known for hits like “Mi Ati E Nak Gi Yu”, “Bomikie”, “KanKanMan”, and “Kon Go”.
Raised in Geyersvlijt by his single mother, Tjatjie discovered his musical talent in high school. In 2009, he formed The Mighty Youth with Finke, gaining mainstream popularity. In 2012, he launched his solo career, releasing hits like "KanKanMan” and "Kon Go”. To reach a global audience, he transitioned to English music, releasing his reggae/dancehall EP "The Other Side” in 2015, followed by his debut album "Kon Go”.
