Todd & Karen is the indie pop brainchild of award-winning Norwegian singer-songwriter Øyvind Berge and classically trained Irish-Swiss musician Ina Verdi-Ruckstuhl. Together, they conjure melodic, slightly neurotic, and irresistibly danceable pop, often inviting bold guests to tumble into their delightfully unpredictable musical orbit.
"Infectious is the word, and it’s an infectiousness that flows effortlessly. No pretense here, no gimmicks or affected sonic charms trying to pull a fast one on the listener. Songs this immediate can only be an extension of the personalities behind the music." - Dave Franklin, Dancing About Architecture
"Todd & Karen have always moved in this liminal space - between humor and sadness; a pop-friendly approach to often adventurous experimentalism; Scandinavian minimalism and an international eclecticism. The songs feel moderately neurotic, still melodic enough that you'll remember them, but also just adventurous enough that you won't know what the next turn will be." - Rising Star
"For a band that has always danced between sincerity and irony, ‘WORK’ feels like a creative high point, delivering something clever, catchy, and quietly radical. It’s indie-pop with purpose: a toe-tapping hymn for everyone counting down the hours until five o’clock." - The Indie Grid
