Toke D Keda is an American band formed in Miami by singer-songwriter Eddie Blazquez. Known for blending Latin pop and tropical fusion, the group quickly earned international recognition with songs like “Fuiste Tú” and “Debo Pensar.”
Their debut album Picando Alante was released under Universal Music Latino and featured collaborations with renowned producers and musicians who had worked alongside global stars like Shakira, Ricky Martin, Juan Luis Guerra, and Enrique Iglesias.
Since their first performance at Miami’s iconic Calle Ocho Festival, Toke D Keda has toured extensively, reaching audiences across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Oceania—bringing latin music to stages where the genre had never been performed before.
Over the years, the band has released multiple albums, including Lo Siento, Ilógico Amor, La Colección, Juntos, and Legado. Their journey and impact on Latin music were documented in the 2025 Roku docuseries I’m Not Supposed To Be Here, directed by Blazquez, who also authored a memoir and companion podcast under the same name.
Today, Toke D Keda continues to be celebrated as one of the pioneering groups that expanded bachata’s global reach, led by Eddie Blazquez, artist, director, and voting member of both the Grammy and Latin Grammy Awards.
