Barcelona's political garage punk combo Tokyo Sex Destruction draws inspiration from bands like <a href="spotify:artist:3S4UtnIGLI03OBpRy3wrNY">the Make-Up</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5WYp4rSdvV9DuiswVnxheS">Nation of Ulysses</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0ZcJYGAQ2R3w7BWzbDDGDx">International Noise Conspiracy</a>, and, especially, <a href="spotify:artist:4WquJweZPIK9qcfVFhTKvf">MC5</a>. The quartet -- which consists of drummer/singer/organ player JC Sinclair, bassist/vocalist SF Sinclair, and guitarists/vocalists RR and RJ Sinclair -- all adopted the surname of John Sinclair, the legendary band's manager and founder of the White Panther Party.
