Toly Rod is a singer/songwriter from the Dominican Republic. His passion for music started when he grabbed an acoustic guitar at the age of eleven. Toly booked his first professional job during his senior year of high school; he moved to New York City and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA). He started getting booked in musicals including "The Buddy Holly Story", where he played the role of Ritchie Valens.
Toly decided to focus more on original music and started working on his own project as a solo artist. As well as writing and producing, Toly also has been collaborating with other artists and producers on original songs and projects. He recently played the lead role in the award winning Off Broadway musical “La Canción” (Music by the great Vico C).
His latest album "Noches De Insomnio" is available on all digital platforms, featuring his most played song “Háblame De Ti”.
