Tom Knight is a musician and puppeteer based in Western Massachusetts. He has been delighting children and their grown-ups with his original, interactive, musical puppet show since 1988. With his unique blend of musicianship and puppetry, Knight's shows include favorites like “The Garbage Monster” and “The Solar System,” and movement songs like “Alligator Jump.” He has performed over 1000 times at festivals, museums, and libraries across the country, including the Museum of Natural History at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, DC. His award-winning “Elephant’s Lullaby” music video has been viewed over 2.8 million times on YouTube.
During the pandemic, Knight created a YouTube children's show (The Tom Knight Show) which combines elements of Mr. Roger's gentle spirit and the unbound creativity of Jim Henson. The show features Allie the Alligator Puppet as a cohost, and highlights the puppet skits behind many of his most popular children's songs.
His latest album for families is "Look Both Ways."
