Tongue is a student band from Oxford. Waist deep in the local music scene, these often silly slacker rock slash punk music enthusiasts are charming audiences and winning hearts as a tried and tested support band. They've been on the bill of a number of Raucous Jericho Tavern sell-outs, and packed Common Ground full for their album launch.
Drawing from the likes of Parquet Courts, Pavement, Personal Trainer, and Talking Heads, Tongue's self titled debut effort has been handed around on bootlegs of bootlegs, with bedroom burned CDs and album covers fresh from the university's printers.
