Tony Barge has spent a lifetime performing classic-traditional country music. His performances have spanned from the stages of the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas, to many performances on the Ernest Tubb Midnight Jamboree. Tony has opened shows for, and his band have backed such country music legends as: Kitty Wells, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, Merle Haggard, Brad Paisley, Billy Walker, Hank Thompson, Freddy Fender, Tommy Cash, and many others. Tony Barge's latest album was recorded in Brady Texas and features some great country classic covers, including duets with Amber Digby and Justin Trevino. The album is titled "The Man With The Blues", the title cut from the album, written by Willie Nelson. The album contains a popular song which Barge penned himself at the request of a friend. Tony's friend was extremely close to his parents, took early retirement to spend quality time with his parents, he lost his mother and then his father became sick with cancer. The song is titled "Daddy Was A Rock".
