Sbongakonke Mfundo Mchunu known as Tony Dayimane is a 21 year old multi platinum selling-artist, songwriter & performer.
Born in Durban, Umlazi yet spent his teenage years in Pietermaritzburg because of his cricket scholarship.
He started recording at the age of 15 greatly inspired by Okmalumkoolkat, Sjava , Young Thug Beautiful Thugger Girls mixtape.
He built a fanbase from that day onwards in Durban and Pietermaritzburg and has grown to one of the country’s top creatives and his artistry is celebrated beyond the borders of South Africa.
Tony Dayimane is described as an astonishing musician and songwriter, a real trapstar or rather a gutter baby mainly known for his superb pen game and cadence on different genres in multiple languages, his ear splitting voice, catchy hooks, showing off his vocals on songs such as Lonke and Gemelli proves his versatility and marks him as one of the next Alphas Mzansi or should i say part of the Big 3?
