Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Tony Lavelle was surrounded by the sounds of Gospel, Soul, R&B and Hip Hop music. This early exposure to diverse genres of music left a lasting impact on his creative abilities and love for music. At the age of 3, he picked up the drums and began his musical journey.
As a member of a family of 12, second eldest, all of whom were musically inclined, it was no surprise that he developed a passion for music. In second grade, he started writing songs and poems, honing his skills and expressing his creativity through lyrics. At the age of 12 he was a part of a family gospel quartet named “The Little Repentance”, where he discovered his ability to sing.
For most of his life, he has been captivating audiences with his words and beats. His upbringing in Memphis and musical background has given him a unique perspective and sound that sets him apart. He continues to make music that not only entertains but also inspires.
