Anthony Devon Wood “Tony Wood” was born and raised in Washington DC and has been writing music and lyrics for over 30 years. Tony wrote “A Tribute to Chuck Brown” in 2012 and also wrote “Adjust Your Color” which was used in a documentary of the same name for the DC icon Petey Greene. In 2020 Tony founded ADW Music LLC to continue creating, recording and promoting music with a focus on Go-Go, the popular music associated with funk originating in DC. Despite the pandemic Tony was determined to record “When We Gonna Get It Right?” with his son, T. Wood. “When We Gonna Get It Right” addresses equality and unity, something needed in these difficult times. Tony’s smooth jazz like funky style and his message will resonate for many years to come.
