Tonya Lewis-Taylor is a Brooklyn-based contemporary gospel artist and worship leader whose history includes extensive nonprofit work -- including the co-founding of the Entertainers 4 Education Alliance -- many years involved in high-profile music publicity, and background vocalist duties for the likes of Mariah Carey and Mary J. Blige. In 2014, Lewis-Taylor, the daughter of a pastor, released her first album, Delayed But Not Denied, a mostly live recording filled with energetic performances and positive messages.
