In early 1990s while DJing at legendary clubs: The Hippodrome (London) and Arthurs (Geneva), T.O.P released a dance version of Nirvanas: Smells like Teen Spirit, which was a hit in European dance clubs. The record was groundbreaking as the first release in the world to coin the term DJ-Mixtools; featuring a set of excerpts and equalization cuts, made for DJs to use in mix, scratch, and dub sessions. The concept has since gone mainstream.

T.O.P’s remixes has spawned platinum selling CD releases during the past decades, and more recently his remixes racks up hundreds of millions of digital streams on YouTube, Spotify and Apple. Most notably his remixes of Adele and Lost Frequencies.
