Torgny Amdam is known for his genre-blending sound that fuses electronic music, alternative rock, and deep storytelling. Emerging from Norway’s hardcore and punk scene as the frontman of Amulet, Torgny Amdam later transitioned into a DIY solo career, crafting music that is both intimate and expansive, while exploring themes of memory, longing, and modern life’s contradictions.

With critically acclaimed releases like «Bathroom Stall Confessional» and «Cut & Run», Torgny has established himself as a visionary artist who pushes boundaries while often maintaining an undeniable melodic core. His work in film scores (i.e «Oslo, 31 august» and «Thelma») and collaborations with diverse artists further showcases his ability to shape-shift across genres, creating albums that are both destabalizing and immersive.

Amdam’s latest LP «Air Mail» (2026) is a personal, lyric-driven album shaped by letters from his teenage years, where memory, grief and identity blur into each other. Drawing on spoken word, stripped-down arrangements and a disregard for convention, the record moves between intimacy, beauty and unease.
