Torq

Born in 1995, Torq (real name Alex D’Errico) takes his first steps in the world of the music since he was a child, listening to 80s and 90s CDs. Over time, he learns playing drums and piano rudiments and becomes a composer.
In 2007 he starts to produce, at the beginning solo, and then with another guy, creating the “Warkids”, a musical project that has gained the support of many international artists such as W&W, Diplo, Blasterjaxx and Borgore. At the end of the project, Torq decides to produce solo and sets up the “Torq” project, based on sounds that recall pomps and the music essence of the 80s. He reproposes sounds with a unique and modern touch and his works have been appreciated by artists like The Chainsmokers, Nicky Romero, ANGEMI, Maximals and others. His disc featuring ANGEMI has reached 200.000 views from all over the world and his Visions (his retro-style visions) have captured the attentions of many artists. He performed in many festivals, such as Holi Summer Festival, Summer Explosion and he performed at the Nameless Music Festival with ANGEMI.
His genre is a unique mix of 70s/80s sounds with fresh and modern sounds.
