Touccan is a band from Lyon created in 2018 by duo Valentin (drums) and Clovis (guitar). They are childhood friends and have played in several musical outfits ranging from Ska Punk to Death Metal to Melocore Punk. Today, Touccan is composed of solely one melodic and harmonic instrument and offers a heterogeneous tonal range while playing with irregular patterns and rhythms. Influenced by their former bands, they play a Post-Emo with Mathrock undertones at the crossroads of the likes of Chinese Football, Touché Amore and Totorro. In 2018, they recorded a six track EP with Florian Pessin. Now, they are back in the studios with Flo working on their first album. Touccan played alongside bands such as Chaleur Tournante, Heavy Heart and CKY.
