Travis Higgins

Travis Higgins is no stranger to music. Born the son of a pastor, Higgins grew up in his father’s church and around every instrument he could get his hands on. The drums were his first initial introduction to musicianship. Later, he transitioned to piano and organ. Travis learned to sing under the guidance of his mother, who developed his musical ear through listening to gospel greats like Walter Hawkins, and the Winans. Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and the Jackson 5 are a few of the many soul greats that could be heard coming from the stereo in the Higgins household. However, Travis found his true love when he was introduced to production as a young boy in 1996. Travis’ professional career was launched in 2000 and since, he’s been perfecting his artistry. Travis has played and produced for many local, national, and international artists. His official debut project “Soul Sessions Vol. 1” speaks to the universal audience and is derived from personal convictions, perspectives on love and relationships, and a lifestyle of loving God. What you hear from Travis today is a manifestation of influence, experience, and faith.
